Bowles <br /> <br />RE: Greeley 35th Ave Pit - File No. M-1977-036, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. <br /> Surety Reduction Request (SR-1) <br /> Surety Reduction for the West Cell Reservoir <br /> <br />Please be advised that on February 16, 2024, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., whose address and telephone <br />number are 1800 N. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, CO 80521; (970) 227-4041, filed an application for a/an <br />Surety Reduction Request (SR- 1) to M1977036, Greeley 35th Ave Pit, which is located approximately 0.5 <br />miles North of Greely, Section 35, Township 6N, Range 66W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County. <br /> <br />Surety reduction was requested to reduce the surety by $2,591,735 for the completion and obtaining DWR <br />approval of the West Cell Reservoir <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for April 16, 2024. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Brock F. Bowles at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8142. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process.
