Carter <br /> <br />RE: Two Rivers - File No. M-1998-038, Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix, Inc. <br /> Amendment (AM-1) <br /> Amendment 1 <br /> <br />Please be advised that on February 8, 2024, Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix, Inc., whose address and telephone <br />number are 839 Mackenzie Ave, PO Box 841, Canon City, CO 81215; (719) 529-0916, filed an application <br />for a/an Amendment (AM- 1) to M1998038, Two Rivers, which is located approximately 1.7 miles South of <br />Boone, Section 8, Township 21S, Range 61W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Pueblo County. <br /> <br />This amendment adds approximately 18.2 acres, updates mining and reclamation plans to adhere to the <br />Division’s requirements, and addresses issues identified as a result of the inspection performed in February <br />2023. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for May 8, 2024. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Jocelyn L. Carter at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8110. <br /> <br />Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix, Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make <br />comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within <br />twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review <br />process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not <br />receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume <br />you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
