Drainage Basins <br />Based on the proposed reclamation pit configurations, stormwater will accumulate in <br />four areas of the Site identified as the backfilled pit and Pits 1 through 3. For the pur- <br />poses of the hydrologic analysis and infiltration calculations, the backfilled pit surface <br />and exposed pit bottoms were assumed to be completely level as indicated by the <br />closed contours on the proposed reclamation configuration. Pit 3 was divided into two <br />subsections (Pit 3a and Pit 3b) due to the reclamation configuration, which could poten- <br />tially split the flow. Furthermore, the backfilled pit surface was assumed to have a con- <br />tainment berm along the east side to prevent runoff and retain stormwater on the back- <br />fill surface.
