(2) RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE <br /> Reclamation costs are calculated using local contractors and prices. The bottom of the pit is to <br /> be graded approximately to the contours shown on Exhibit E-1, and the western and northern <br /> edges are to be graded at a 1 to 3 (V:H) , as will the eastern portion that has been raised using <br /> using fill from the western portion. The stockpiled topsoil will be used to cover all sloping areas <br /> .The assumptions for costing include that work will be performed using an excavator 312 <br /> Caterpillar or equivalent, a Caterpillar Model 212 grader, or equivalent, a wheel-loader sized at 2 <br /> cubic yards or greater, 12-yard dump truck, and a 4-Trax with harrow for covering seed. Other <br /> equivalent manufacturer's equipment can be substituted. Cost includes fuel, lubricants, operator <br /> wages and benefits, and equipment depreciation.
