Overall with the amount of snow pack, rainfall and cooler weather this season the noxious weed <br /> population is under control along the roadway with the IPM program currently in place. <br /> Below is the Noxious Weed species that is within the project area. <br /> Common Name Scientific Name Urgency of Control Extent of Infestation <br /> Common Thistle Circium vulgare High Small patches or <br /> individual plants <br /> generally found <br /> within 50 feet of the <br /> centerline of mine <br /> access road; <br /> Kochia Weed Bassia scoparia High Primarily found at <br /> the entrance to <br /> fenced mine <br /> entrance and within <br /> the immediate area <br /> adjacent to the <br /> developed parking <br /> lot and mine <br /> entrance facility <br /> Field bindweed Convolvulis High Primarily found on <br /> arvensis the road and at <br /> entrance.
