The Division estimates liability at the Loadout, prior to the approval of SL-03 to be $862,287.00.
This amount was determined using the reclamation tasks from Midterm Review RN-6 completed in
December of 2022 and updated with CIRCES costs evaluated by the Division in 2023. The current
bond held with the Division for HGLO is $865,033.00. With SL-03, the Division proposes to release
$826,596.00.
The remaining $38,436.00 is sufficient to assure completion of the remaining reclamation work at the
site if the work had to be performed by the Division, including the cost of reestablishing vegetation on
any revegetated areas, should those areas fail.
Reclamation work which remains to be done at the site includes revegetation of the 2.3 acres at the northern
boundary of the permit. This area has been converted into irrigated hay fields and will be eligible for
release after the 10-year liability period. The list of remaining reclamation tasks to be completed is
provided in Table 1 at the end of this document.
Permit Number C-1992-081 Page 7 of 7
