Enclosed is a brief description and bid schedule for the Monarch Bond Forfeiture <br /> Project. <br /> PROJECT LOCATION <br /> The Monarch Bond Forfeiture Project is located just south of the town of Garfield in Chaffee <br /> County Colorado. Please see the attached maps. <br /> WORK SUMMARY <br /> The project will involve constructing a 500 foot long run-on control berm, grading 2 acres of land, <br /> incorporating material into the graded area, revegetation, and constructing rolled dips on an <br /> existing road. <br /> MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING- <br /> The mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing for the Monarch Bond Forfeiture Project will <br /> be held on-site at the Colorado Lime Company Quarry on Tuesday, August 29t", 2023 at <br /> 11:00am. The meeting location will be located in the large pull out on the south side of Highway <br /> 50 at the entrance to the quarry, approximately 1.5 miles west of the town of Garfield, Colorado. <br /> Please see Location Map and Project Map. The purpose of the Pre-Bid meeting is to afford <br /> potential bidders the opportunity to inspect the proposed work and access conditions. Bidders <br /> are advised to be prompt. A sign-in sheet will be available at the Pre-Bid meeting for firms to <br /> register their attendance. It is the bidder's responsibility to make certain their attendance is <br /> recorded on the sign-in sheet. Signing the Pre-Bid Meeting attendance list to represent more <br /> than one person or company is not permitted.
