The application was submitted by Moffat County Mining, LLC on <br />March 3, 2023 for the Williams Fork Mines. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of <br />this proposed decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of date following the first publication of <br />the public notice by the Division in the CO Mountain News Media - Craig Daily Press. <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br /> <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; Sections 16, 17, 19, <br />20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6N, R92W; 6th <br />Prime Meridian. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder, <br />221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625.
