8. As stated in item 2 of this review, item S specifies reclamation measures to be conducted on pads
and off-road travel areas, including contouring, ripping and seeding. Please provide more details
regarding the reclamation of the off-road travel areas. The details should include but are not
limited to:
a. Approximate volume of material, in Cubic Yards, to be moved during contouring,
b. Approximate area, in acres, to be ripped for decompaction,
c. Approximate area, in acres, to be seeded with the proposed seed mix
For the drill pads,an estimated quantity 37 cubic yards of topsoil at an anticipated 12"maximum
thickness will be salvaged from each site and replaced over the site. The actual topsoil quantity
will depend on existing topsoil depth and final pad size.
The mud sumps will require excavation of up to 20 cubic yards of material, which will be utilized
to backfill the mud sump. Any excess material will be graded within the drill site to promote
positive drainage and restore pre-disturbance contours. Topsoil will be replaced over the graded
drill site, and revegetated for up to a maximum of 0.46 acres of drill site seeding.
The operator intends to minimize the impacts to the off-road travel routes and prevent formation
of new roads and trails for regular use by the public. Off road travel routes will be carefully
selected to minimize or eliminate contouring, ripping,or seeding the oft-road travel areas. The
current bond allows for up to 0.54 acres of reclamation in addition to the drill sites to account for
any unanticipated repairs to the off-road travel areas. If it is determined by the regulators or land
management agency that repairs to portions of any off road access routes are necessary, the
operator commits to conduct said repairs to their satisfaction.
Additional Notes:
The operator received approval of the NOI from the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of
Land Management Tres Rios Field Office on December 7,2023. Certain drill holes require a seasonal
restriction for wildlife considerations.
Based upon the BLM seasonal restrictions, the commencement date will be adjusted to after May 1 and
the completion date adjusted to before December 1. The actual dates of operation are still to be
determined based on final permit approval and contractor availability.
5
