3. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and
redistributed for the re-establishment of vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil
redistribution depth:
Topsoil is approximately 10 inches in depth. Topsoil on affected areas will be stockpiled
and saved for reclamation. Topsoil will be used to cap reclaimed sand. Redistribution
depth will be the same depth as the topsoil removed, approximately 10 inches.
4. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required
abandonment procedures):
N/A
S. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be
reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for specific reclamation performance standards).
You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications.
The topsoil excavated from all exploration test pits will be stockpiled near the
disturbance area. This stockpiled topsoil will be utilized to cap and reclaim the
excavated sites. In the event that the material extracted from the drill holes is
insufficient for backfilling, sand from the tailings at AuPt's existing Permit M2016081 will
be utilized as a supplement. To restore the disturbed areas, seeding and imprinting
activities will be carried out in October.
Form 2—Public File Page 9 q/14
