3. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
1. Mineral(s)and/or Resources being Investigated: Uranium and Vanadium
2. Estimated Dates of commencement and completion:
Commencement:January 1,2024(as weather and permitting allows)
Completion: March 31,2024(to avoid migratory bird season April 1 —August 15)
3. Amount of material(specify units)to be extracted, moved,or proposed to be moved:
N/A Units
4. Identify the type of method of prospecting proposed and quantity:
Cuts Pits Trenches
Shafts Tunnels Adits
Declines Air Drilling X Fluid Drilling
Drilling and Blasting
5. Describe proposed surface excavation or other land disturbance, including roads, pits, trenches,
waste piles, drill pads and collar areas of underground workings, ponds, etc.
In-field exploratory drilling program to collect geologic information related to uranium
mineralization in multiple roll front style deposits throughout the area.Activities include minor
repairs to the access roads, preparation of drilling locations, drilling with mud rotary drilling
equipment, data collection, and reclamation of the drill sites. From the existing two-track roads,
drill sites will be accessed by selecting dispersed single use cross country access routes. The
routes will be selected to avoid drainage bottoms, heavily vegetated areas, wetlands, and areas of
soft ground. Multiple passes of drilling and support equipment will be avoided to prevent rutting
or formation of new off-road trails. This approach is proposed to minimize ground disturbing
activities typically associated with access road construction. The proposed drill pads will be equal
to or less than 25'x40',small sites, requiring no more than 1,000 square feet per pad. The topsoil
will be stripped and stockpiled within the drill pad footprint. Drill sumps, also described as mud
pits, will be used as the holes are expected to be wet. The mud pit and associated spoils will be
contained within the drill pad area footprint.Additional areas within the drill pad will be used for
the drill hole collar and allow for a work area that is adequate to capture and contain any spilled
drilling fluids. Drilling fluids will consist of water supplied from a water truck as well as
Bentonite based drilling mud additives. 27 possible drill hole locations are shown on figure 2.
Only 20 of the holes will be drilled.
6. Proposed Disturbance(approximate): Describe the proposed drilling to be conducted, including
anticipated number of holes, diameter, depth, location, etc. Submit additional pages if necessary:
a. Drill Pads:
Quantity: 20 Average Width(ft): 25 Average Length(ft): 40
b. Drill Holes:
Quantity: 20 Depth(ft): 1200 Diameter(in): 6
c. Mud Pits:
Average Average Average
Quantity: 20 Width(ft): 4 Length(ft): 8 Depth(ft): 6
Form 2—Public File Page 15 of 21
