INTRODUCTION <br /> 1.1 OVERVIEW <br /> This Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) has been prepared in compliance with the <br /> provisions of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act (25-8-101) for Holcim - WCR, Inc. - <br /> Morrison Quarry (facility). The facility is permitted to discharge process water and <br /> stormwater associated with mining and processing of sand and gravel under certification <br /> number COG500320, which is covered under the Colorado Department of Public Health <br /> and the Environment (CDPHE) general permit COG500000. The permit and authorization <br /> to discharge will expire at midnight December31, 2021 . <br /> This document is organized as follows: <br /> • Quick Reference Documents-SWMP revisions schedule and compliance checklist <br /> • Section 1 Introduction - Overview, certification, SWMP administrators and allowable <br /> discharges <br /> • Section 2 Facility Description - Description of facility operations and site drainage <br /> • Section 3 Facility Inventory and Pollutant Sources - Description of facility areas <br /> including operation, drainage and pollutants that could potentially impact <br /> stormwater <br /> • Section 4 Control Measures - Description of control measures implemented at the <br /> facility to minimize impacts to stormwater <br /> • Section 5 Inspections- Description of required inspections <br /> • Section 6 Monitoring - Defines required monitoring (visual, analytical, etc.) and <br /> frequency <br /> • Section 7 Corrective Action Documentation - Required documentation in the event <br /> a spill or facility change occurs that has the potential to affect stormwater quality <br /> • Section 8 Natural Background Pollutant Levels- Included if applicable <br /> • Section 9 Recordkeeping and Reporting - Summary of recordkeeping and reporting <br /> requirements <br /> • Section 10 Consistency with other Plans - Statement of consistency with other <br /> regulatory plans <br /> Each of the sections above describe in detail, the information contained in the figures, <br /> tables and forms. <br /> 8 <br />
