The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br />Kevin Copeland and Michael Howard, mine representatives, were present throughout the inspection. The <br />temperature ranged from 45 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm and conditions were partly cloudy. <br /> <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br />RN8 <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br />Rills and gullies at the slope below the No 5 Portal to the 5A-P1 Pond require grading. <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED <br /> <br />INSPECTION <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> <br />Reclamation is progressing as permitted. Facilities have been removed throughout the site and reclamation has <br />been completed. Topsoil below the 5A Portal was placed. and is yet to be seeded and regraded. Hydroseeding the <br />portal slope is complete, and 2 foot tall grasses were observed as were numerous shrub saplings. Culvert locations <br />were mapped during the inspection. <br /> <br />SIGNS and MARKERS – Rule 4.02 <br />o The mine site identification signs observed at the mine access point at the main gate was intact, <br />displaying all required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone number, DRMS <br />permit number and contact information. <br />o Ponds were staked and topsoil piles were marked. <br /> <br />
