Amendment (AM-3) Ammend Permit to 124.20 Ac Please be advised that on October 12, 2023, Meeker Sand & Gravel, Inc., whose address and telephone number are P.O. Box 1550 3251 Counrty Road 4, Meeker, CO 81641; (970) 878-5061, filed an application for a/an Amendment (AM- 3) to M1976038, Meeker Pit, which is located approximately 4 miles South of Meeker, Section 36, Township 1N, Range 94W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Rio Blanco County. AM-2 application permit acerage revised, terminate AM-2. Amended Application is now AM-3. Add additional acerage on the west side of the existing permit boundary. The application decision is scheduled for January 10, 2024. Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Amy C. Yeldell at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 866-3567 x 8183. Meeker Sand & Gravel, Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. M-GR-03A-P
