September 11, 2023 C-1981-019/Colowyo Coal Mine ZTT <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> <br /> Page 4 of 10 <br /> <br />boundary was inspected in relation to the construction. All new disturbance was well within the approved <br />disturbance limits and no issues were observed. <br /> <br />Section 15 Pond construction. Reach 1 of FEPD. <br /> <br />Pond cleaning operations at Prospect Pond. <br /> <br />West Pit: <br /> <br />Three ditches within the West Pit were inspected along with the associated stock ponds. This included the Taylor <br />Ditch, East Taylor Ditch and Buckskin Ditch. The Buckskin ditch has only a portion constructed at the moment <br />and is located in the eastern portion of the West Pit. The Taylor Ditch is lined with rip rap for its entirety and no <br />issues were observed. The East Taylor Ditch is mostly lined with rip rap with a portion that is a vegetated channel <br />just above stock pond ETD1. The lower portion of the East Taylor Ditch recently recieved mainteance and remains <br />stable. No issues were observed with all ditches or associated stock ponds within the West Pit.
