central portion of the South London Stockpile, the stormwater berm,as shown within Detail 2,will be
installed in a phased approach as the stockpile is removed.
Within the Processing Area, the site will be graded to the north where stormwater collects in a ditch and
flows to a small sediment pond in the northeast corner of the area before discharging into the off-site
CDPS Pond.
As native soil horizons are uncovered, the fine material will be excavated and stockpiled around the
American Shaft area both as fill for the water-filled collapse area and for subsequent use for final cover.
Upon completion of the repository at the South London Stockpile,3"of fine-grained growth medium will
be placed as final cover to enhance revegetation success and re-vegetated with the approved native
seed mix.
If sufficient fine-grained cover is not located around the South London Stockpile footprint, fine grained
material will be imported to achieve at least 3"of cover over the South London Stockpile area.
