Your NOI was received on August 4, 2023, <br /> by the South Park Ranger District of the Pike—San Isabel National Forests& Cimarron and <br /> Comanche National Grasslands(PSICC). The Tonko #1 NOI has been assigned an identification <br /> number of 2810-021210-NOI-2023-013. Please use this number in all future correspondence. <br /> The Tonko Notice NOI outlines your intent to conduct prospecting and exploration operations on <br /> your Tonko#1 unpatented mining claims on the PSICC within the Mosquito Creek watershed in <br /> portions of Sections 7 and 8, T. 9 S., R. 78 W., 6�h Principal Meridian, Park County, Colorado. In <br /> your NOI, you propose the following prospecting and maintenance activities: <br /> • Use of existing roads (Park County Road 12 to Park County Road 696)to the private gate <br /> and foot travel to access the Tonko #1 unpatented claim block. <br /> • Use of hand tools including picks, shovels, rock hammers, and metal detectors to <br /> excavate small prospect pits and maintain the claims. <br /> • Operations will occur from September 1 to December 31, 2023. <br /> In reviewing your letter, it has been determined that a Mine Plan of Operations (MPO) is not <br /> needed at this time.
