1.3 Topsoil Replacement Documentation <br /> Trapper is confident that average topsoil replacement depths meet at least minimum requirements for all <br /> parcels included in this Phase II bond release application. Trapper's topsoil replacement monitoring <br /> practices have been very uniform throughout the life of mine and are conducted in such a way as to insure <br /> adequate topsoil replacement depths. Trapper has always closely monitored topsoil replacement depths <br /> by means of concurrent, systematic field depth sampling by trained individuals. This field monitoring <br /> always occurs within one to several days of topsoil replacement by scraper crews and is conducted before <br /> the crews leave the area. In areas where topsoil is found to be replaced at less than the approved depth, <br /> scrapers are sent back into the area to lay down at least the required topsoil depth. <br /> Table 1.3-1 summarizes Trapper Mine topsoil replacement depth data and provides information on data <br /> origin. Topsoil replacement depth information is also summarized in Appendix 2.1 parcel history sheets. <br /> 9 <br />
