The application was submitted by Bowie Resources,LLC on <br /> August 25,2022 for the Bowie No. 1 Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b)of the Rules and <br /> Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining,we are providing notice of <br /> this proposed decision. <br /> Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a <br /> formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the date following the first <br /> publication of the public notice by the Division in the Delta County Independent. <br /> The underground mine is located approximately three miles North of Paonia.The permit area is further <br /> described as located in all or portions of the following: <br /> • Sections 1,2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,22,23,24,and 25 Township 13 South,Range 92 West of the <br /> 6th P.M. <br /> • Sections 17, 18, 19,29, 30,31,and 32 of Township 13 South,Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br /> Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Paonia Public Library,23rd Street, <br /> Paonia, CO 81428.
