The application was submitted by Twentymile Coal,LLC on November <br /> 18, 2022 for the Foidel Creek Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of <br /> the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed <br /> decision. <br /> Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br /> hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the date following the first publication <br /> of the public notice by the Division in the Colorado Mountain News Media-Steamboat Pilot. <br /> The underground mine is located approximately 23 miles Southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The <br /> permit area is further described as follows: <br /> In portions of Sections 7, 8,9,T4N,R86W;Sections 32 and 33,T6N,R86W;Sections 23,24,25,26,27,34, <br /> 35 and 36 in T5N,R87W;and all of T5N,R86W with the exception of Sections 34,35,and 36. <br /> Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Routt County Clerk and Recorder, <br /> 136 6th Street,Steamboat Springs,CO 80477.
