Michels <br /> <br />RE: Leone Gravel Pit #2 - File No. M-2006-085, Leone Sand & Gravel LLC <br /> Acreage Release Request (AR-1) <br /> Acreage Reduction Request - 126.66 Acres <br /> <br />Please be advised that on August 15, 2023, Leone Sand & Gravel LLC, whose address and telephone <br />number are 2400 E Main Street, Trinidad, CO 81082; (719) 846-4170, filed an application for a/an Acreage <br />Release Request (AR- 1) to M2006085, Leone Gravel Pit #2, which is located approximately 8 miles of <br />Trinidad, CO, Section 29, Township 32S, Range 62W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Las Animas County. <br /> <br />The Operator requests an acreage reduction of 126.66 acres, and a corresponding surety reduction to reduce <br />their financial liability. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for October 16, 2023. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Amber N. Michels at the Division <br />of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8137. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process.
