Nature of the Anticipated Disturbance: Surface disturbance by removal of any overlying sediment, <br />vegetation, and rock, called overburden and extraction of coal. <br />13. Comments: Portions of the surface area on the ridgetop in the inventory area of Figure 1 have been <br />previously disturbed by prior brush removal along the ridgtop in a sprt of patchwork formation. <br />Additionally, much of the ground surface of the inventory area of Figure 2 has been previously <br />disturbed by historic agricultural cultivation (wheat fields).
