Overview (ENE) of Area 2 showing grasslands created by historic farming <br />disturbance. <br />(Agropyron smithii), bluebunch wheat (Agropryon spicatum), needle-and-thread (Stipa <br />comata), Indian ricegrass (Oryzopsis hymenoides, and junegrass (Koeleria cristata) (USDA <br />SCS 1982). Greasewood is common in the lower drainage bottoms, as well. This <br />community is present in Area 1 (Plate 1), and generally absent in Area 2 due to historic field <br />disturbance (Plate 2). <br />3
