(Agropyron smithii), bluebunch wheat (Agropryon spicatum), needle-and-thread (Stipa
comata), Indian ricegrass (Oryzopsis hymenoides, and junegrass (Koeleria cristata) (USDA
SCS 1982). Greasewood is common in the lower drainage bottoms, as well. This
community is present in Area 1 (Plate 1), and generally absent in Area 2 due to historic field
disturbance (Plate 2).
