Yeldell <br /> <br />RE: Meeker Pit - File No. M-1976-038, Meeker Sand & Gravel, Inc. <br /> Acreage Release Request Application (AR-2) <br /> Acreage Reduction <br /> <br />Please be advised that on June 8, 2023, Meeker Sand & Gravel, Inc., whose address and telephone number <br />are P.O. Box 1550 3251 Counrty Road 4, Meeker, CO 81641; (970) 878-5061, filed an application for a/an <br />Acreage Release Request (AR- 2) to M1976038, Meeker Pit, which is located approximately 4 miles South <br />of Meeker, Section 36, Township 1N, Range 94W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Rio Blanco County. <br /> <br />Release 14.48 ac. a combination of 12.13 ac of reclaimed land on the south side of the permit and 2.35 ac of <br />unaffected lands near the permit entrance, east side. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for August 7, 2023. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Amy C. Yeldell at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8183. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process.
