i ~. <br />i~ <br />BOROLLIC CANBORTHIDS, COARSE-LOAMY, MIXED <br />The Borollic Camborthids consist of deep well drained soils formed <br />in alluvium derived from sandstone with a component of gravelly outwash. <br />They occur on river terraces and have slopes of 0 to 29 percent. <br />The Borollic Camborthids are not similar to any other soils mapped <br />in the survey area and are of very limited spatial distribution in <br />the northwestern portion of the survey. They occur near Forelle soils. <br />Soils of the map unit are classified as coarse-loamy, mixed <br /> <br />Borollic Camborthids. <br /> <br />Typical pedon of Borollic Camborthids, coarse-loamy, mixed, 26 <br />percent slope is located within 411,000N, 1,406,000E and 414,000N, <br />1y410,000E <br />Al--0 to 13 inches; yellowish brown (lOYR 5/4) fine sandy loam, <br />dark brown (lOYR 4/3) moist; weak fine granular structure; slighty <br />hard, friable, slightly sticky, non-plastic; gravel content is 5 <br />percent; strongly effervescent; moderately alkaline; gradual smooth <br />boundary. <br />B2--13 to 17 inches; yellowish brown (lOYR 5/4) clay loam, <br />yellowish brown (lOYR 5/4) moist; weak fine subangular blocky <br />structure; slightly hard, friable, sticky, plastic; gravel content <br />is 10 percent; strongly effervescent; moderately alkaline; clear smooth <br />boundary. <br />C1-17 to 27 inches; light yellowish brown (lOYR 6/4) clay loam, <br /> <br />2-189 <br />
