A narrative describing site grading,topsoil replacement, successful revegetation and other stabilization
activities,as appropriate;
The NO1 consisted of four items:
1. 6 shallow rotary drill holes placed in March of 2013,with depths not exceeding 25 feet. Holes
1-3 were drilled in the old mine permit area for the Precious Mine and holes 4-6 were drilled to
the west of the mine area. See attached Reclamation Map.The holes were drilled in the
approximate locations shown on the Map.
2. A shale excavation area of 15 tons maximum located immediately south of the mine permit area
3. Commitment to reclaim some old cuts and mounds adjacent to the shale excavation area.
4. Use some topsoil mounds left in the mine area in the reclamation of the shale excavation area.
All reclamation work was performed by Gerald Korinek,who works for JH Sand and Gravel, and has been
associated with the property since the initial drilling occurred.
Item 1-All holes were drilled in shale and no water was encountered in any hole.The drill holes were
filled with a mixture of sand, silt and clay to the surface,which was then compacted.Topsoil was placed
to a depth of 4 inches and grass plugs were placed in each hole area. In addition,some seed (from the
prescribed mix)was placed around the holes.As seen in the hole reclamation pictures,there are no
disturbances outside of the immediate hole areas.The Drill Hole Abandonment Report is attached to this
submittal.
Page 3 of 17
