EXHIBIT I—SOILS INFORMATION
(1) From the NRCS Soil map on the following pages, soil characteristics consist of
mostly loam soils. Permit boundary is gently sloping. Vegetation will be established
on all affected areas. No shrubs or trees. Overburden approximately 2 feet in
reclamation. The dominant soils contained in the permit area include Goshen Silt
Loam, Sampson Loam, Satanta Loam, Colby-Satanta Complex and Bankard-
Glenberg Complex. The estimated depth to which soil, suitable as a plant growth
medium, will be salvaged for use in the reclamation process will be approximately 5
inches. Soil data taken from the Web Soil Survey of Cheyenne County, Colorado,
United States Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service.
I-1
