Description of the Environment Location of Permit Area With the PRI 1 permitting action, Trapper Mine expanded the permit boundary in the northwest portion of the mine. Trapper Mine is located in northwest Colorado along the northern slope of the Williams Fork Mountains, approximately six miles southwest of the City of Craig. The boundaries of the permit area are about six miles long (east to west)by two miles wide (north to south) as shown on Map 1 below. 5
