Victory Way <br />Craig, CO 81625 <br /> <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br /> Permit Revision Application No. 11 (PR-11) <br /> PR-11 5-Year Mine Plan Update <br /> <br />Dear Moffat County Commissioners : <br /> <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to <br />approve with conditions a revision application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was <br />submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc. on October 14, 2022, for the Trapper Mine. <br /> <br />The surface mine is located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows : <br /> <br />Township 5 North, Range 90 West <br /> Section 5 All <br /> Portions of Sections 6, 8 and 9 <br /> Township 5 North, Range 91 West <br /> Portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5 <br /> Sections 2 and 3, ALL <br /> Township 6 North, Range 90 West <br /> Portions of Sections 30 and 32 <br /> Section 31, ALL <br /> Township 6 North, Range 91 West <br /> Portions of Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 32 <br /> Sections 33, 34, 35, and 36, ALL <br /> <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder, <br />221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625. Copies of the Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of <br />Compliance” are available at your County Clerk and Recorder’s office.
