Lombard#3 Board Hearing <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> March 27,2023 <br /> observe the hearing via the MLRB YouTube Channel: <br /> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDrrAO8blPFlOwce-yH1fWA. <br /> The Applicant is required to initiate the Public Notice procedures outlined in Hard Rock Rule 1.6. <br /> The Applicant shall place a copy of the application, all required exhibits and adequacy review <br /> responses with the County Clerk and Recorder. Notice of the Application, on a form approved <br /> by the Board, must be sent to the local Board of County Commissioners and the Board of <br /> Supervisors of the Soil Conservation District. In addition, the Applicant shall post notices at the <br /> mine site and publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the <br /> proposed mining operation. The public notice shall be published once. Immediately after the <br /> publication, a copy of the notice shall be sent to all Owners of Record of the surface and mineral <br /> rights of the affected land and the Owners of Record of all land surface within 200 feet of the <br /> boundary of the affected lands. <br /> Alternatively, the Applicant may withdraw the application by providing the Division a signed letter on <br /> company letterhead requesting the application withdrawal. <br /> If you have any questions, please contact me at peter.hays@state.co.us or (303) 866-3567 Ext. <br /> 8124. <br /> Sincerely. <br /> Peter S.
