All review and comment periods as <br />provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br /> <br />The applicant, Moffat County Mining, LLC, proposes to continue underground coal mining <br />operations on land located approximately 7 mile (s) Southwest of Craig, Colorado. There are no <br />proposed revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any proposed surface <br />disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. The permit area is further described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; Sections 16, <br />17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 a nd 33, T6N, R91W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6N, <br />R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Round Bottom, Castor Gulch. <br /> <br />Permit Renewal No. 8 constitutes a renewal of the existing permit. This renewal application does <br />not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any proposed surface <br />disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. <br /> <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Clerk and <br />Recorder, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625 .
