All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of filin g. Moffat County Mining, LLC proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. This renewal application does not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. The permit area is further described as follows: All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; Sections 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6N, R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. The above-me ntioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map(s): Round Bottom, Castor Gulch. Permit Renewal No. 8 constitutes a renewal of the existing permit.
