Covey: <br /> <br />On March 6, 2023 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety concluded its review of the <br />Technical Revision application submitted to the Division on February 9, 2023, addressing the <br />following: <br /> <br />Instead of total removal of the winch, propose that the massive counterbalance stay in the secured <br />winch house but all cables, motors, electrical connections, and any other removable parts be r emoved. <br />Weld any turbines or moving parts to complete the inoperable process. Any other measures needed, <br />following inspection, will be completed. <br /> <br />The decision reached by the Division is: approve. <br /> <br />The terms of Technical Revision No. 5 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit <br />No. M-1988-081.
