EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan <br /> Rule 6.3.3 <br /> The purpose of the mining plan is to describe how mining will affect the permit area for the duration of <br /> the operation. <br /> 1) Estimated dates of commencement: 15 March 2023 and completion: 31 August 2023 <br /> Note: Reclamation of all affected lands shall be completed within 12 months after issuance of the <br /> permit. An Operator possessing a I I I(1)(b) Reclamation Permit must convert to the appropriate <br /> regular construction materials permit if extraction and export of materials from the site are not <br /> completed within 12 months after the issuance of the permit. <br /> 2) Depth of topsoil to be salvaged (check one): <br /> F 4-6 inches R6-8 inches <br /> F_8-10 inches __[1_10-12 inches <br /> Other: if possible 4 inches except in pond and within 1 foot of ordinary high water mark of pond <br /> N/A, explain: <br /> 3) Description of how topsoil will be stockpiled and stabilized: <br /> Stockpiled in a windrow on the western edge of the site adjacent to CDOT ROW and fence. <br /> Based on moisture and weather, soil may be protected from erosion by crusting/dust control. <br /> 4) Thickness of overburden needed to be moved: feet or xx N/A <br /> 5) Thickness of deposit to be mined: up to 30 feet <br /> 6) How will the mine be accessed: (n) existing roads " " new roads will be created <br /> a. Please describe the existing roads: <br /> Driveway off SH-151: 300 feet long 12-ft wide gravel May be replaced byl85-foot 26-ft <br /> wide gravel access road across from existing Lob Lolly Pit entry per new/revised CDOT <br /> permit as part of construction project. <br /> b. If there will be new roads or road improvements, please describe the new roads and road <br /> improvements (note, new roads must be included in permitted acreage): <br /> See above, New marl to Archuleta County standards 185 feet long, 26-feet wide. 2% <br /> slope away from SH-151 2% crown 63-ft radius horizontal curve graveled <2% silt. <br /> Requires new/revised CDOT access permit which has been applied for. <br /> 7) Will water be needed during the mining operation (check one): (_E)Yes or(l...)No <br /> a. If yes,please describe the source of the water and how much water will be used during the <br /> operation: <br /> Water MAY be used for dust control, estimated at less than 500 gallons per day (66 <br /> days) or 0.1 acre-feet.
