PROJECT NAME: National 410 Project <br /> Project& Permit No. P-1981-014 <br /> Funding Source—Bond Forfeiture/Severance Tax <br /> GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION: <br /> The purpose of this project is to reclaim a hard rock mine located on private land in accordance with the <br /> approved mining and reclamation plan. The National 410 Prospecting Notice of Intent (NOI) was <br /> terminated and the bond was forfeited on July 22, 2004.The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br /> reclaimed this site using the forfeited bond money, and severance tax money. <br /> The National 410 site is located 0.5 miles south of the Town of Central City in Gilpin County, Colorado. <br /> The site lies at the end of a private road with a gated entrance on the north side of Virginia Canyon Road <br /> west of the Central City Parkway overpass.
