We are in the process of preparing the Invitations to Bid for
portions of the Coal Basin Mines. In order to convey the scope of
the project and the locations of project areas, a map of the Coal
Basin site needs to be prepared. This map will contain information
necessary to orient potential bidders and document reviewers to the
site. The map will need to be to scale, and will include pertinent
features at the site, including mine entries, fans, roads and waste
disposal areas. Topographic contours will not be included on the
map. The final map should fit on legal sized paper.
To facilitate this project, I have enclosed a map which depicts the
features which need to be included on the new map. The features to
be included on the new map are highlighted on the enclosed map.
The names of each facility, stream or road are also labeled, and
should be included on the new map. A Title Block which includes
the scale, north arrow and the caption "Coal Basin Mines
Reclamation Project Map" should be included.
This project could probably be done quickly by someone familiar
with the TIPS technology available at the Division office. If it
is possible, the map should be saved within the TIPS computer
memory so that the map may be revised over time as reclamation
projects are added and completed.
I would like to have this project completed by January 17, 1995 as
I will be in Denver late that afternoon, and could pick it up then.
