26. CLAIMS
Any claim by the CONTRACTOR arising by virtue of this purchase order contract
which is not disposed of by agreement shall be submitted in writing, together
with any written and oral evidence in support thereof, to the OWNER for
decision. Before making a decision the OWNER shall notify the CONTRACTOR that
any additional written and/or oral evidence in support of the claim may be
presented to the OWNER within thirty (30) days from receipt by the CONTRACTOR
of such notification, or within such further period of time as may be granted
by the OWNER. The OWNER shall make his decision in writing and mail or
otherwise furnish a signed copy thereof to the CONTRACTOR. Pending the
decision of the OWNER, the CONTRACTOR shall proceed diligently with the
performance of this purchase order contract.
27. CLEANUP
The CONTRACTOR shall at all times keep the construction area free from
accumulations of waste material or rubbish resulting from his work. Upon
completion of the work, the CONTRACTOR shall remove from the vicinity of the
work and haul to a county approved disposal site all rubbish, trash , garbage,
and debris resulting fromhis work. Additionally, the CONTRACTOR shall remove
from the vicinity all unused materials, and the like, belonging to the
CONTRACTOR or used under the CONTRACTOR'S direction during construction.
Cleanup is subject to the approval of the PROJECT MANAGER.
28. CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE CONTRACTOR
All correspondence from the CONTRACTOR to the OWNER shall be submitted to:

29. LIENS
No Mechanic's lien lies against a publicly owned building in the State of
Colorado. However, as will appear below, unsatisfied creditors for labor
and/or material of the CONTRACTOR of such a building are by law provided
certain security.
30. PERIODIC PARTIAL PAYMENTS
If the time for completion of the work is more than one month , the CONTRACTOR
may requisition and receive monthly progress payments in the amount of ninety
percent of the value of the work completed to date less the total of such
previous payments, if the CONTRACTOR is satisfactorily performing the
contract. The CONTRACTOR must submit his Social Security Number or Federal
Employer Identification Number with his initial bill .
