Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program <br /> CLOSEOUT REPORT <br /> 'r Ohio Creek#2 Fence Repair BOND FORFEITURE PROJECT <br /> Introduction: The OC#2 Coal Mine was reclaimed by the DRMS Coal Program in the late 1990's. The fence was reported <br /> to be down during a summer 2011 inspection. This project repaired approximately 1,000 linear feet of fencing. <br /> Permit Information <br /> Permit Number Operator Name Mine Name <br /> C-1980-002 Robert Weaver Ohio Creek#2 <br /> Type of Mine -Coal Commodity Mined: Coal <br /> PRE-RECLAMATION SITE CONDITIONS <br /> The Ohio Creek Number 2 Mine is located approximatelyl6 miles northwest of Gunnison Colorado, on. Gunnison <br /> County Road 6. The site was previously reclaimed by DRMS. A cattle exclusion fence was construction around <br /> the perimeter of the 2.4 acre site following reclamation activities. The cattle fence was reported to be down <br /> during a summer 2011 inspection by the DRMS Coal Program. The fence posts had become unstable and the <br /> wood H-braces had rotted at the ground surface and were falling down. Eight treated lumber H-braces were constructed and <br /> installed, 3 gates were repaired and labled with "keep gate closed" signs, seven H-braces were removed and disposed of, <br /> and approximately 1,000 linear feet of fence was repaired. Construction was completed on November 11, 2011. Final <br /> inspection of the site was completed on November 14, 2011.
