Contractor Dirt-N-Iron completed reclamation in April, 1992. <br /> There still remained a small waste rock pile located in ephemeral drainage and the waste rock pile was sparse in vegetation <br /> and the steep slopes contained many rills and were in beginning in stages of gullying <br /> BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION <br /> Reclamation work constructed as part of multiple Bond Forfeiture project called the Biscuit Rock awarded to RM2, LLC of <br /> Clifton, Colorado. The bid document included$4000.00 for bid items 6.1 —Farmer Girl Regrading: $2000.00/acre and 6.2— <br /> Farmer Girl Revegetation -$2000.00/acre. Mobilization ($4,000.00)and SHEAP($500.00)costs were shared between the <br /> four different Bond Forfeiture projects. In addition, RM2 mobed a 25 foot flatbed trailer with weed free certified mulch and trailer <br /> containing Biosol and seed. <br /> The work included in the bid document required 1 acre of regrading consisting of moving an existing 200 cubic yard waste <br /> rock pile from a dry wash to prevent transport of waste rock down drainage. The material was move approximately 200' to <br /> create a berm on the existing waste rock pile to prevent runoff from further eroding the steep siope of the existing waste rock <br /> pile. The bid document also included one acre of revegetation of the excavated waste rock area, the bermed area <br /> consisting of the excavated waste rock and bare areas of the existing waste rock pile. Revegetation included scarification <br /> with backhoe, hand spreading of native seed mixture and application of 400 lbs/acre of organic fertilizer Biosol.
