Work started on the
head of the ditch in which the steep section where the creek had pushed through was sloped back. The steep channel walls
and the slope on the east side of the drainage were reduced and smoothed out. All reduced sloped areas were seeded and
mulched. All trash and debris were removed from the site, unless otherwise specified to remain onsite. Canadian thistles
were removed by hand and previously existing bare spots were roughened, seeded, and mulched. Large piles were knocked
down as specified, seeded, and mulched. Little disturbance to existing vegetation occurred with any disturbed areas being
seeded with Ponderosa mix and mulched. Two (2) tons of certified weed free mulch per acre and the Western
Pinion/Juniper seed mixture were applied to all disturbed areas. A total of one (1) acre was reclaimed. The total cost for
this work was $3,333.00.
Change Order#1
Item #1- Four(4) hours of equipment time was used to re-shape a near vertical slope along one of the placer piles, and
blend it in to the surrounding area. A portion of equipment rental time (Task#6)was used to cover this cost.
Item #2-Canadian thistle was present throughout the mine site. Due to the proximity to Missouri Creek, hand removal of the
noxious plant was required. A portion of equipment rental time (Task#6)was used to cover this cost.
Item #3-Approximately half an acre required revegetation as a result of Canadian thistle removal. A portion of equipment
rental time (Task#6)was used to cover this cost.
The project was completed on June 22, 2010.
Remaining Reclamation Requirements and Estimated Cost:
There are no additional reclamation requirements for the Fool's Luck Placer Mine.
Project Manager Senior Project' na•-r
Y,0j0 Z/zq r
Date Date
