A mining and reclamation permit was issued to Leland
Lode Mining in 1982 for 5 acres. The permit was revoked and the financial warranty forfeited by the State of Colorado in
2005. According to the mining plan, this operation was to include an access road, mine bench, and underground mine adit.
The access road begins at the Edgar Mine access road and extends approximately 1400 feet east to a small mine bench.
There are no signs of a portal or mining equipment and there is no evidence that underground mining ever took place at this
prospect. The remaining reclamation on site using the forfeited bond money includes ripping and grading the mine prospect
area, and revegetating areas that lack established and diverse vegetation including the access road. Previous reclamation
was performed on site in 2006 under another forfeited site, Leland North P-1987-063.
BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
Type of Bid Direct Bill
(circle one)
PO Number Contractor Name &Address Construction Bond Amount-$1,900.00
N/A Dates
Berry Trucking and Excavating, Start: 6/24/2010
Inc.
PO Date 8561 S.
