There were 2 noticeable access ways, one to the excavated area, <br /> and the other to a bench area located directly north of the excavation site. The areas were well vegetated with native <br /> volunteer species. Backfilled <br /> the approximately 15 ft. wide x 20 ft. long by 5 ft. deep pit with the waste rock located immediately adjacent to opening. <br /> Contoured backfilled waste rock to approximate the slope of the adjacent hillside. Placed one large and 2 smaller on-site <br /> boulders, in the middle of the "driveway" accessing the pit location. Placed three large on-site boulders in a staggered <br /> orientation along the path of the "driveway" accessing the pad located north of the pit. Excavated nine holes measuring <br /> approximately 1.5 ft. x 1.5 ft. for planting large shrubs, i.e., adjacent to the placed boulders. A CAT 416 rubber tired backhoe <br /> was used to complete the task.
