The site is
situated off Spring Gulch Road, and access is through a private driveway. A prospecting permit was issued in 1981 to drill
and bulk sample. The Crazy Girl shaft was reclaimed by the Division in 1989 (Project 142, Feature 4) using a steel grated
shaft closure with access door. The grate closure access door was vandalized by gunfire and the grate was removed. In
addition, the hasp was no longer functional and the hinges were destroyed. The general framework of the closure was intact,
but repairs were needed to ensure it is properly safeguarded. The landowner, Nunnery Charles Trust was notified of the
repairs to the shaft closure.
BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
Type of Bid Documented Quote Direct Bill
(circle one) Formal - Bid as the Project, P-1981-032
Direct Bill Number Contractor Name&Address Construction Bond Amount
P-1981-032 Dates $ 1,900.00
Berry Trucking and Excavating, Start: 8/27/2009
Inc.
Direct Bill Date 8561 So.
