Colorado Division roject of <br /> ZIa8ia ,Safety <br /> Martin-Poma Ranch Bond Forfeiture Reclamation Project <br /> Installation <br /> On June 15, 2012, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br /> Board revoked the Martin-Poma Rach Gravel Pit Mine <br /> Mining and Reclamation Permit (M-1981-041) and <br /> forfeited the reclamation bond. <br /> The Martin-Poma Ranch Bond Forfeiture Reclamation Project <br /> was conducted by RM2,LLC from June 6 through June 8,2016. <br /> Approximately 1.2 acres of gravel covered land was scarified <br /> and amended with 6 tons of topsoil and two tons of straw to <br /> create a plant growth medium; approximately 1.5 acres was <br /> revegetated with a native seed mix. The total cost was$7,790.00 <br /> (including seed cost of $1,040.00). <br /> The Martin-Poma Ranch site is located approximately 24 miles <br /> north of Pagosa Springs on the Piedra Road; it is located in the Martin-Poma Ranch Gravel Pit,BEFORE <br /> NE 1/4 of Section 36, T37N, R 4W, N.M.P.M., in Hinsdale <br /> County, Colorado. Reclamation was paid for with funds <br /> remaining in the reclamation bond. <br /> QA/QC <br /> DRMS inspector witnessed the implementation of the <br /> reclamation. <br /> Conclusion <br /> • <br /> The Martin-Poma Ranch Bond Forfeiture Reclamation Project ` <br /> scarified, incorporated organic matter and revegetated <br /> approximately 1.5 acres of gravel surface, thereby returning the <br /> land to a beneficial use.
