Approximately 80 cu. yds. of acid generating mine waste was left on the ground surface, south of the mine
portal. Miscellaneous wood and metal debris was scattered on site. The Mill
building was demolished and placed in the excavated trench. Wood debris was also buried in the excavation trench. Mine waste ._
was buried in the concrete sump located on ground level at the east end of the mill building. The concrete leach pad was
fragmented and buried in the northern end of the mill footprint. The area was covered with a minimum of 2 feet of native soil
originating from the trench excavation site, as well as the earthen bench upon which the mill was built. The concrete drainage
diversion wall was removed, fragmented, and buried in the lower half of the concrete loading pad and backfilled with a minimum
of 2 feet of native soils. The concrete drying slab was fragmented and buried in the cut slope immediately north of the drying pad,
and backfilled with a minimum of 2 feet of soil originating from the drying pad footprint, to a 2H:1V grade, blending in with the
adjacent hillside. A swale was constructed in the access road on the east end of the site to convey intermittent flow from a native
drainage above the road. The entire site was seeded with BLM-specified native seed mix, fertilized with Nitrogen and Phosphorus
inorganic fertilizer, and mulched with 2 tons/acre weed-free straw. Metal debris and mill wiring were removed from the site to be
salvaged.
evulit 6PAce-ce
Project Manage - nior ProjectManager
9Manager
9
9/y (4.— ( 5-- (
Date Date
