The Druid Mine <br /> is located 30 miles west of Denver, Colorado and consisted of three mining and reclamation permits that were revoked and <br /> forfeited by the Mined Land Reclamation Board (Permit No M-1990-049, M-1991-049 and M-1992-090). Four hundred (400) saplings of Limber Pine, two hundred (200) saplings of Colorado Blue <br /> Spruce and four hundred (400) saplings of Bristlecone Pine were planted by over sixty volunteers organized by Girl Scout <br /> Troop#667. Volunteers consisted of Girl Scout's families and friends and DRMS staff members. The trees were planted <br /> over 30 acres of reclaimed area that had a good layer of topsoil and grasses.
