The site is located two
miles northeast of Como in Park County, Colorado. The 110 (c) mine permit was issued in 1990 for a sand and
gravel operation. In 2001, the permit was revoked and the bond money was forfeited. The Division reclaimed
the site in 1994 by backfilling the deep gravel pit with fill material, replacing topsoil and reseeding. Remaining
bond money was retained to ensure that vegetation has adequately established.
The Division inspected the site in 2011 and determined that portions of the previously reclaimed site required
additional revegetation.
BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
Type of Bid Documented Quote P se Order
(circle one) Invitation for Bid Direct Bill
PO Number: Contractor Name & Address: Construction Direct Bill Amount - $271.00
Direct Bill Dates: Seed Purchase- $204.00
Berry Trucking and
Excavating, Inc. The DRMS Subalpine seed mixture was used. One-acre bag of seed
was used to interseed the 10-acre sand and gravel site. The seed and fertilizer were broadcast using a broadcast
spreader on the back of an all terrain vehicle (ATV). Steel fencing was then dragged behind the ATV to cover
the seed with soil and existing vegetation.
Remaining Reclamation Requirements and Estimated Cost:
No remaining work is required on site.
—2L-21LCA- (-elt431
Project Manager J Senior Project =nager
GI, (7)07iDi 1
Date ` Date
1
