Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection conducted by Lucas West of the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and <br /> Safety's Active Mines Program. The site is in final reclamation,and not active the day of the inspection. The <br /> weather was clear and dry.Mindy Sickles of Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation was present during the <br /> inspection. Due to the excessively muddy conditions of the site the inspection confined to accessible roads and <br /> areas. Five Photos accompany this report to illustrate the observed site conditions. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Both ponds were observed from County Road Aa and 26 road respectively. Pond 001 contained no <br /> standing water, and can be seen in Photo One. The pond floor and banks are well vegetated and appeared to be <br /> stable at the time of the inspection. Both ditches and inlet structures leading to Pond 001 were observed to be free <br /> from obstruction and able to function as designed. Photo Two shows an example of the ditches observed. Pond <br /> 002 contained a fair amount of standing water with water actively flowing in from the East inlet to the pond from <br /> snowmelt. Photo Three shows the pond and Photo Four shows the active flow entering the pond. The flow was <br /> pooling but still far from the volume needed to discharge. Similar to Pond 001,the pond floor and banks of Pond <br /> 002 are well vegetated and appeared stable at the time of inspection. The reporting ditches and inlet structures of <br /> Pond 002 were observed to be free from obstruction and in good condition <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> The facilities area was observed and in good condition. No evidence of settling, slumping or erosion was <br /> noted in the area.
