<br /> <br />NOTICE <br />Consideration of Hard Rock Reclamation Permit <br />Permit Conversion Application <br /> <br />DATE: February 7, 2023 <br /> <br />TO: Javier Vargas <br />Division of Water Resources <br />Division Engineer <br />100 Broadway, Ste. 1-D <br />Sterling, CO 80751 <br /> <br />FROM: Patrick Lennberg <br /> <br />RE: Gold Hill Mill - File No. M-1994-117, Colorado Milling Company, LLC <br /> Permit Conversion Application (CN-1) <br /> Conversion from a 110(2) limited impact to a 110(d) designated mining operation permit <br /> <br />Please be advised that on February 7, 2023, Colorado Milling Company, LLC, whose address and <br />telephone number are 50 West 100 South Street, Moab, UT 80342; (303) 588-1119, filed an <br />application for a/an Permit Conversion (CN- 1) to M1994117, Gold Hill Mill, which is located <br />approximately 5 miles Northeast of Boulder, Section 12, Township 1N, Range 72W, 06th Principle <br />Meridian, in Boulder County. <br /> <br />Permit conversion to a designated mining operation based on the storage and usage of chemicals in <br />the mill that can produce acid or toxic chemicals. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for May 8, 2023. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Patrick Lennberg at the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 866-3567 x 8114. <br /> <br />Colorado Milling Company, LLC is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the locality of the mining operation. If you wish to make comments on or objections <br />to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within ten (10) days of the <br />newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You <br />should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your comments <br />or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03
