Scott <br /> <br />RE: Chavers Mining Resource - File No. M-2015-030 , Asphalt Specialties CO., Inc. <br /> Amendment Application (AM -2) <br /> CORRECTED LOCATION for Notice Sent Feb. 3, 2023 <br /> <br />Please be advised that on February 3, 2023, Asphalt Specialties CO., Inc., whose address and telephone <br />number are 10100 Dallas St., Henderson, CO 80640; (303) 289-8555, filed an application for a/an <br />Amendment (AM - 2) to M2015030, Chavers Mining Resource, which is located approximately 2 miles <br />South of Ft. Lupton, Section 18, Township 1N, Range 66W, 06 th Principle Meridian, in Weld County. <br /> <br />Revise the currently approved reclamation plan to change post mining land use from developed water <br />storage to inert backfill/rangeland. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for May 4, 2023. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Eric C. Scott at the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mi ning and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 866-3567 x <br />8140. <br /> <br />Asphalt Specialties CO., Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments <br />on or objections to the mine plan and/or t he reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days <br />of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
